I write historical fiction, focussed around unheard voices or from unusual perspectives. My novels have variously been shortlisted for literary awards, international bestsellers and translated into foreign languages. I have an MA in Creative Writing from St Mary’s University and am this year a judge on the Historical Writer’s Association Gold Crown Award. I am very happy to chat and offer advice about publishing, getting an agent and writing in general; historical fiction, bookclub and general fiction, but I can’t offer specific advice about non-fiction, children’s or memoirs.
